Sad news today indeed. Henry Cooper used to train at the Thomas A Becket pub, behind my school in the Old Kent Road. (Walworth School) He parked his Jensen Interceptor in the school car park, on occasion. We were devastated when he lost to the then Cassius Clay.
Cheers, Pete.
Cheers, Pete. Believe it or not my Dad used to wash Henry Cooper’s car many years ago 🙂
Thanks for all the Posts, I friend of mine was put on the door outside Ali’s room at Clearages before the Cooper fight , the door opened and Ali asked him if he was safe making my friend laugh, saying that if they get through him they only have the world Champ to fight.
Thanks for sharing 🙂
Looking so dapper here!
Yep, he looked great in anything 🙂
