The American Connection

I always enjoy having American passengers on board. Whether they be tourists or here on business, their enthusiasm for London shows no bounds!

I recently received a kind invite to guest-blog on a U.S based site; ‘Smitten By Britain‘, an offer which I was more than happy to accept.

Taking advantage of this opportunity, I decided to write about the numerous American links which can be found in London; many of which are often overlooked by both Brits and Americans alike. I also went out on foot with my trusty camera, to snap the locations in question!

You can read the article here:

Whilst you’re there, take time to have a look around Melissa’s site. Her passion for the UK is incredible!

Thanks for reading.

  1. Thank you Charlie and very pleased to showcase your wonderful writing and photos on my blog.

  2. Really interesting about the Mayflower it is a lovely pub though I had no idea that is how it got the name. Need to research the public houses I visit a little more thoroughly clearly.

    1. Researching pub names is always a good excuse to visit them!
